+852 - Two Years in Hong Kong: a Retrospective p2p

+852 is the telephone country code of Hong Kong - a place where we have spent two of the most significant years of our lives, participating in the double degree program of Digital Media at Leuphana and Creative Media at the City University of Hong Kong.

This exhibition is not just an amalgamation of the works that we have produced abroad, but a materialization of our collective memories. The City is often overwhelming and extreme, with strong contrasts ranging from rich to poor, nature to urban, freedom to suppression. These different circumstances and perspectives melt together in the exhibition, revealing insights to our experimentations in and with Hongkong. The displayed works contain short animation, documentary and experimental films as well as photography. Together, they form a fragmented memory of a city that we grew to love.
