Meu corpo é político (My body is political) p2p

Screening and Mediation
June 25, 2026, 7:30 pm

My body is political (Meu corpo é político). Dir. Alice Riff. Original language: Portuguese. Subtitles: English. 71 minutes.

An intimate portrayal of the day to day lives of four trans individuals living in peripheral neighborhoods of a huge Latin American city, São Paulo. The days go by surrounded by circles of friends, romantic relationships, work, activism, personal projects, music and —in the background— a political commentary about the national disputes over trans rights.

For this screening the Fluid Film Collective proposes a non-pretentious mediation, facilitating a space for exchanging impressions and ideas about the film.

This screening is part of the current screening series “Films to Postpone the End of the World. Tropical Dystopias and the (Re)Invention of the Future” and is taking place in cooperation with Fluid Film Kollektiv as part of the Kunstraum.p2p format. Admission to the event is free.
