Debord’s Films

Guy Debord, founding member of the Situationist International (1957–72), made movies before, during and after his membership in the S.I. He shot his first movie in 1952 and appeared as a movie director for the last time in 1994. Roberto Ohrt, who inter alia published widely on the Situationist International, will talk about Debord’s movie production. Debord’s “In girum imus nocte et consumimur igni” (1978) will be screened subsequent to the introduction.
