S.R.: Do you want to say or add something? Would you think maybe something is missing what is very important that you have to say?

R.G.: I don't know. I have a lot of things that I would like to say. I guess I write them usually. But will there be a chance to add anything? Is there a transcript that is possible to read – what did I say? (...) Tilburg...

S.R.: Of course, if you want we can continue in LA.

R.G.: Maybe... that might be good. Now I have a kind of a direction; I've got an idea of the project, at least. Maybe there it's different. I think it would be interesting to film in the downtown, outside of this morphosis, outside of this building because this area... One of the things that I would like to say, to contrast.... from the historic conceptual work; thinking about ways in which... Maybe there are different forms of engagement with and as well as a ... I'm thinking about a range of different people who have worked, in what kinds of ways they were approaching things and how they had their different projects or made different kinds of performative acts, like I think in that way of Smithson in that way or Theresa Hak Kyung Cha or Adrian Piper or number of different... Martha Rosler – a number of different artists and the ways they were engaging in. But how there was a separation from certain kinds of institutional forms or that it wasn't possible or it was difficult maybe it wasn't of interest and a combination of being able to infiltrate certain kinds of areas. And I think that's one thing that's maybe a bit different in the present, and I think that... I mean for a number of different kinds of reasons which, I guess, reflect various aspects of late capitalism, for example. But I think... When I'm thinking about in particular like public works and things like that, and in this project... You know try to do something that's maybe seen within the maintream or that goes into an area that many people would encounter rather than a smaller audience who is interested in art. That's one of the things that I think that... it's a possible shift in a way, whether it's different kinds of distribution forms or film or writings in other ways. This is something I'm wondering about. I don't claim that it's like happened but I think it's possible. Difficult – but that's one thing I'm interested in.
